Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with issue resolution, return/turn-in, storage, inventory, calibration, maintenance and repairs (including depot-level repairs) of mission equipment, dive gear, and test equipment.
  • •Monitor calibration schedules to ensure timely calibration within the Dive Life Support and Maintenance Facility (DLSMF), including tank and bottle pick-up/drop-off.
  • •Ensure air and oxygen purity standards are met and maintained per the Navy Dive Manual; maintain current air samples.
  • •Maintain Navy 3-M system schedules and associated records (JSNs, LOEPs, MRCs/PMRs) and ensure documentation is correct, legible, and ready for inspection.
  • •Dive in open water to test equipment and assist with maintaining current hydrostatic test dates for CO2 and air inflation systems.
