Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to the software testing team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations, and guide QE leads/managers on testing solutions.
  • •Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, schedules, KPIs, and quality measurement across the product lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • •Oversee test design and execution for functional, performance, security, and user-experience validation across multiple testing phases (unit, integration, regression, UAT).
  • •Drive quality engineering processes and defect management, implementing shift-left practices and collaborating with development and security/DevSecOps teams on security testing.
  • •Adopt and guide test automation and AI/agentic AI innovations (e.g., Copilot and Claude Code) to improve coverage and efficiency; support pre-sales activities including RFPs and PoCs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in software testing, especially test automation.
  • •5+ years leading in a leadership/managerial role, including leading large teams of 20+ quality engineers on complex projects.
  • •In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, best practices, and the software development life cycle with agile methodologies.
  • •Proficiency with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python) and test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, TestCafe), plus test management/defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).
