Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices and control plane components for Dell’s Data Protection portfolio.
  • •Build and enhance REST-based services and APIs with Java and Spring Boot, using Spec Driven Development and AI-assisted tooling/automation to improve productivity and quality.
  • •Contribute to the architecture and implementation of cloud-native distributed systems across public cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premises environments; perform detailed root-cause analysis and debugging to resolve issues.
  • •Develop software for orchestration, policy management, monitoring, lifecycle management, and data protection workflows; create automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for quality and reliability.
  • •Participate in design, code review, security review, and operational readiness reviews; collaborate with Product Management, Customer Support, and other Engineering teams for customer-focused solutions.

Salary: USD 132,480 - 182,160 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of software development experience.
  • •Strong programming skills in Java and object-oriented design; hands-on backend development with Spring Boot/Spring Framework and REST APIs.
  • •Experience developing cloud-native applications, microservices, or distributed systems; knowledge of AI-assisted engineering tools for development and delivery.
  • •Solid understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, concurrency, and multithreaded programming; Linux/Unix experience plus databases, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, NoSQL).
