Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure personal safety and safe work practices using PPE and strict adherence to company procedures and federal/state environmental regulations.
  • •Perform high/low voltage switching, including energizing/de-energizing breakers and switches up to 13.8 KV.
  • •Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair high- and low-voltage components, including 4160V and 480V motors and control circuits.
  • •Install and maintain motors, motor control systems, motor-operated valves, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, VFDs, UPS systems, battery systems, and high resistance ground units.
  • •Execute scheduled maintenance work with proper job scope review, LOTO, documentation in the computerized maintenance management system, and communicate progress/issues to supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 3 years industrial electrical experience or 5 years electrical experience with a 2-year technical degree in electrical technology.
  • •Currently possess or be able to qualify for a TWIC credential.
  • •Ability to understand equipment design/application and electrical/instrumentation systems (e.g., transformers, motor starters, circuit breakers, control circuits).
  • •Fundamental understanding of specification sheets, loop diagrams, and P&ID’s.
  • •Willingness to work overtime/callouts, shifts (weekends/holidays), hazardous/flammable chemicals, confined spaces, and heavy equipment; proficient MS Office basics (Word, Excel, Outlook).
