Housekeeper/Caretaker

Care for laying hens and baby chicks in poultry production systems by monitoring feed, water, air flow, and production conditions. Keep feeders, waterers, and heaters in working order; remove dead birds; and address equipment issues such as egg blockages, burnt-out bulbs, and egg transfers/collectors. Maintain clean barn walkways and perform routine barn cleanup while ensuring fair and ethical treatment of animals. Entry-level role with no prior experience required.
