Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the fair and ethical treatment of laying hens.
  • •Remove dead birds from all cages/systems.
  • •Walk up and down rows to fix egg blockages and keep production running.
  • •Replace burnt out light bulbs and keep feeders and waterers in good condition.
  • •Clean and maintain barns: clean egg transfers, blow off egg collectors, sweep walkways, blow down barns, and catch loose birds.
