Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies in accordance with system requirements.
  • •Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to develop design solutions and resolve technical issues.
  • •Support factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence, and troubleshooting domestically and internationally.
  • •Participate in design peer reviews, resolve action items, and conduct trade studies to support technical decisions.
  • •Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and Raytheon Source Inspection (RSI), including work instruction reviews, material dispositions, and root cause investigations with Quality engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related (STEM) field obtained prior to start.
  • •Experience with 3D modeling CAD tools.
  • •Experience in modeling and drawing (may be gained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects).
  • •Ability to support technical documentation, including technical data package updates/variances.
  • •Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.
