Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in analysis, modification and design of reservoir description tools and their associated assembly and testing procedures for assigned projects; incorporate electronics engineering and sensor principles.
  • •Prepare design calculations and specifications for reservoir description tools.
  • •Develop test procedures, conduct tests and analyze test results for assigned projects.
  • •Assist in handling field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services.
  • •Incorporate Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Tech Prof-Mfg-related occupation OR 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Tech Prof-Mfg-related occupation.
  • •Experience with analysis, modification and design of reservoir description tools for wireline logging operations.
  • •Experience with soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly including PCB soldering and high-temperature solder.
  • •Experience interpreting, modifying and creating mechanical drawings and mechanical procedures.
  • •Experience conducting qualifying tests (pressure, temperature, mechanical/electronic functionality) and writing test procedures; designing test setups for surface and high-temp/high-pressure testing.
