Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect the ML platform by designing, building, and maintaining training, orchestration, and experimentation infrastructure for state-of-the-art model development.
  • •Optimize ML researcher velocity by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and building automated tools for hyperparameter tuning, profiling, and experimentation tracking.
  • •Design and scale high-performance ETL pipelines processing terabytes of multi-modal data captured from physical assets and test sites.
  • •Deploy model serving infrastructure for high-throughput, low-latency serving across both scalable cloud environments and air-gapped tactical edge networks, including CI/CD with validation, canary deployments, and rollback.
  • •Implement continuous evaluation, model validation, and reinforcement learning alignment loops (RLHF/DPO) and collaborate with AI and platform teams to unify infrastructure standards.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production-scale machine learning systems and platforms (MLOps).
  • •Strong programming and systems design skills with proficiency in Python, Go, C++, or similar backend languages, plus deep ML systems understanding.
  • •Deep experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), GPU scheduling/orchestration, and distributed training frameworks (e.g., PyTorch Distributed, Ray, Slurm, or Megatron-LM).
  • •Hands-on experience building distributed ETL data pipelines and managing terabytes of multi-modal sensor datasets.
  • •Experience setting technical direction, leading complex system migrations, and mentoring senior engineers.
