Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and participation in POCs with internal and customer/partner teams.
  • •Understand customer technical requirements and build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
  • •Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
  • •Continuously improve Fortinet product and solution knowledge and maintain understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • •Position Fortinet solutions to customers remotely or in person, using whiteboarding and technical materials, while managing deals and maintaining CRM accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • •Have strong aptitude for cybersecurity, including domains such as network security, SIEM, endpoint security, incident response, and forensics; CISSP is beneficial.
  • •Currently or previously work in a pre-sales engineer role, owning end-to-end technical aspects of deals through to technical closure.
  • •Demonstrate problem-solving skills and how they’ve driven key wins in your organization.
  • •Understand and build customer relationships, communicating technically to a range of external and internal stakeholders.
  • •Have strong understanding of firewall, intrusion prevention, sandboxing, encryption and hashing, and familiarity with ZTA.
