Job Summary

Serve as a technical lead for Careem’s enterprise applications, primarily owning Atlassian tooling (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk) across multiple countries. Design, develop, and support workflows, automation, reports, dashboards, and knowledge bases. Troubleshoot and manage incidents through Jira/ITSM, perform RCA for recurring issues, and lead change management for upgrades and enterprise application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical leadership and day-to-day support for Atlassian applications (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence).
•Develop workflows, custom fields/screens, and scripts to automate tasks; create Jira reports, dashboards, and planning views.
•Support users with Jira, including guidance on building JQL queries and resolving issues.
•Manage access and permissions configurations, log and track incidents via Jira/ITSM, and handle problem management.
•Lead upgrades, change management, documentation, root cause analysis (RCA), and known-error processes; maintain a knowledge base.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
•4–7 years managing enterprise systems and applications.
•Hands-on experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk).
•Strong technical skills in Java and Python, and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
•Experience with system integration, API protocols, and cross-application integration/automation.
