Job Summary

Lead end-to-end material planning and inventory execution for production and NPI programs, translating demand, schedules, and engineering changes into procurement and inventory strategies. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Mission Management, and Sites to ensure material availability, analyze risks and constraints, optimize inventory parameters, and improve ERP/MRP data accuracy through dashboards and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Own material planning and inventory management for assigned product lines, executing MRP planning to ensure availability for production, NPI, engineering builds, and customer demand.
•Analyze demand, inventory, supplier lead times, and production schedules to build forecasts, identify shortages, manage supply commitments, and drive material readiness with cross-functional partners.
•Optimize inventory performance by maintaining planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points, lot sizing, and planning policies) while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
•Perform root cause analysis on shortages and planning exceptions, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvements to planning accuracy and operational performance.
•Maintain accurate planning data in ERP systems (item master data, BOMs, supplier information, planning parameters) and build dashboards/reporting to track material availability and supplier performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 109,000 - 137,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in material, production, supply chain, or inventory planning in a manufacturing environment.
•Strong understanding of MRP/ERP planning systems and experience managing material availability in complex production environments.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis).
•Cross-functional experience with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to support NPI, engineering builds, and customer demand through actionable planning and inventory management.
