Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive end-to-end VE/CE projects from ideation through implementation.
  • •Identify cost reduction opportunities across control systems, cabinets/enclosures, I/O systems, third-party hardware, mechanical assemblies, and electronic assemblies.
  • •Create engineering proposals including design simplification, component substitution, supplier changes, standardization, platform reuse, and part count reduction.
  • •Perform cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations for VE opportunities.
  • •Review system architectures and design documentation (electrical schematics, BOMs, layouts), evaluate alternate hardware technologies/sourcing options, and support compliance and design validation/qualification activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •8 to 12+ years of overall experience in hardware engineering and industrial automation/control systems.
  • •Experience in value engineering and component engineering is an added advantage.
  • •Experience in Process Automation products and processes is an added advantage.
  • •Strong expertise across hardware design, control systems, networking, cabinet design, electronics, and cost engineering.
