Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive inbounding and inventory SKUs from the Warehouse and perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to required specifications and lot codes.
  • •Address quality and/or BBD issues on production lines and respond to out-of-spec findings via deviation, corrective action, and preventative measures workflows.
  • •Lead production associates for ingredient sorting and perform inspections for work-in-progress and finished products to meet company standards.
  • •Ensure accuracy and efficiency at ship-out stations by completing required logs and records, while maintaining clear communication with operations, procurement, and logistics.
  • •Perform environmental monitoring and equipment calibration verification (environmental sampling & ATP swabbing), support GMP audits, and coordinate water sample testing with accredited laboratories.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical or Food Sciences diploma.
  • •6 months to 1 year experience in QC/QA in a food processing, manufacturing, or service environment.
  • •Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs and work standing for prolonged periods with bending, twisting, and walking.
  • •Understanding of Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and GFSI schemes.
  • •Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C) and communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
