Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce UI product/system requirement specifications based on end-user input and operational analysis.
  • •Develop product/system design concepts and implementation specifications with a focus on usability.
  • •Create and modify prototypes, operational scenarios, and process maps with emphasis on operational context and task analysis.
  • •Contribute to software architecture, detailed design, and software integration across complex distributed systems.
  • •Ensure software quality through disciplined development and verification, including automated tests and peer/code reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Software Engineering.
  • •Minimum 10 years of software development experience, preferably for communications, defence, mission-critical, or distributed systems.
  • •Strong proficiency in Java development.
  • •Experience translating requirements from a Human Factors / Human Systems Integration perspective (e.g., task analyses).
  • •Experience with GIS frameworks (e.g., LuciadLightspeed, NASA World Wind) and Web UI fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
