Job Summary

Develop and deploy the Indian Sub-continent Zone (ISC) compliance program, advise the business on legal compliance matters, and coordinate investigations raised via SpeakUp and other channels. Drive implementation of compliance initiatives (including ISC Compliance Program 2.0), monitor remediation, and translate risks and audit findings into controls and evidence-based reporting. Provide risk-based training and due diligence support for third parties, and contribute to global Market compliance best practices across ISC.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement the annual ISC Zone compliance program with the Head of Legal and ISC leadership, including monitoring remediation and maintaining evidence.
•Provide pragmatic legal compliance advice across areas such as anti-bribery, healthcare compliance, competition/antitrust, conflicts of interest, third-party risks, export controls, and privacy/data protection.
•Conduct and coordinate investigations arising from SpeakUp and other channels, including developing investigation plans and preparing objective reports.
•Perform periodic compliance risk assessments and use outcomes to shape training, communications, monitoring, and risk-mitigation measures.
•Support third-party compliance due diligence and onboarding across ISC, and contribute insights to the global Market compliance program.

Key Requirements

•A law degree from a recognised institution; an LL.M. or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
•Preferably qualified or enrolled to practise law in at least one ISC jurisdiction.
•At least 5–13 years of relevant experience in legal compliance, investigations, or as a compliance officer, preferably in a multinational and regulated industry.
•Sound knowledge of anti-bribery, competition, and healthcare compliance requirements applicable within ISC.
•Experience conducting or supporting internal investigations and managing sensitive matters.
