Job Summary

Lead and oversee the global Know Your Customer (KYC) program, ensuring robust due diligence, effective governance, and alignment with business objectives. Own and continuously enhance the KYC operating model, policies, workflows, controls, and escalation paths. Manage day-to-day KYC operations, quality metrics, queue/SLA performance, and complex reviews. Partner with Legal, Compliance, ITC, Commercial Risk, vendors, and executive stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, analytics, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and oversee the global KYC function, setting strategic direction, governance, and operational oversight.
•Own and continuously enhance the KYC operating model, including workflows, controls, escalation paths, governance structures, and process documentation.
•Maintain and update KYC policies and procedures to reflect evolving business needs, regulatory expectations, and external risk changes.
•Oversee day-to-day KYC operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, queue management, SLA performance, and manage escalations/exception cases.
•Own relationships with key KYC vendors and manage supplier performance, renewals, purchase orders, invoicing, and service delivery expectations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
•Relevant experience in KYC, compliance, governance, risk management, audit, or related disciplines.
•Experience leading a KYC function or similar due diligence program within a large multinational organization (preferably energy or related).
•Strong knowledge of third-party due diligence, beneficial ownership reviews, sanctions screening, watchlist monitoring, risk-based assessments, and escalation protocols.
•Preferred: a relevant certification such as CAMS, ICA, CCEP, or equivalent.
