Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain CICS Transaction Server and related software, applying vendor patches and releases using SMP/E.
  • •Monitor CICS performance and capacity, identify bottlenecks, and tune CICS regions to meet SLAs using tools such as Intellimagic, RMF, and BMC Mainview.
  • •Troubleshoot and debug complex system and application issues, analyzing system dumps and coordinating with application developers and vendors.
  • •Provide developer support for CICS regions and define required application resources, collaborating with application teams.
  • •Design scalable infrastructure, automate service delivery and maintenance tasks, and lead risk identification and control in alignment with risk/compliance policies.
