Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with engineering during R&D to source components, qualify vendors, and turn around quotes and samples quickly.
  • •Build supplier relationships across key categories and develop alternatives as needs change.
  • •Evaluate quotes, lead times, and vendor capabilities to make sound decisions even when data is incomplete.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and leadership to gather approvals and remove roadblocks.
  • •Support NPI and scaling to high-volume manufacturing by guiding manufacturability readiness, transitioning to production-grade suppliers, and helping stand up sourcing processes and tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong grounding in supply chain fundamentals including purchasing, negotiation, and supplier management.
  • •Some exposure to the hardware supply chain; experience with technical hardware/components and manufacturing processes.
