Key Responsibilities

•Support Electrical Component Engineering by selecting, specifying, and determining application adherence for electrical components.
•Evaluate risk and verification data packages to support component selections and provide justification to program customers.
•Identify parts for the preferred parts list, drive usage of standardized parts, and recommend mitigations for obsolescence issues.
•Identify solutions to meet customer component requirements.
•Interface with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and present findings through program design reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
•U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a security clearance.
•Technical working knowledge of electronic components and their application (e.g., semiconductor, passive, and/or electromechanical commodities).
•Board layout experience and/or PCB manufacturing and circuit card assembly experience.
