Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead integrated smart mobility and ITS systems design connecting field ITS/roadside equipment, Traffic Management Centers, command & control centers, and citywide smart city platforms.
  • •Define interoperability, scalability, and future-ready system architectures using open standards and modular designs, including ITS-to-subsystem integration interfaces.
  • •Lead ITS communication and networking design, covering fiber optic backbone and access networks, relevant wireless technologies, and mission-critical requirements for QoS, latency, redundancy, resilience, and cybersecurity.
  • •Conduct or review traffic demand/capacity/performance analyses and develop ITS deployment strategies aligned to safety, resilience, sustainability, and smart city/digital mobility roadmaps; define data/analytics needs.
  • •Own deliverables and technical governance from layouts/diagrams/ICDs and BoQs through RFP/tender support, and implementation support including integration, testing/commissioning, and FAT/SAT/UAT review.

Key Requirements

  • •8–12+ years of professional experience in ITS and smart mobility engineering and traffic management/transport systems design.
  • •Proven delivery experience across highways and urban road networks, including tunnels and complex transport corridors.
  • •Experience in rail/metro or airport environments, and exposure to large-scale infrastructure or smart city programs.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT/Telecommunications Engineering, Transportation/Traffic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • •Ability to lead system design through concept/strategy through design, tendering, and implementation support.
