Job Summary

Serve as a trusted health & safety partner for Enbridge’s regional teams, providing day-to-day technical support, guidance, and tactical delivery of Health & Safety programs aligned to Safety & Reliability priorities. Lead incident investigations for personal injuries and preventable motor vehicle incidents, support Joint Health & Safety Committees, deliver select safety training, and coordinate assurance activities, regulatory liaison, and occupational hygiene testing support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide effective field health & safety technical support for day-to-day operations.
•Support regional leadership to achieve health & safety goals and local safety plans.
•Provide health & safety support to Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSCs) and maintain the GDS Health & Safety Program.
•Deliver select safety training courses and coordinate select third-party training.
•Lead investigations for personal injuries and preventable motor vehicle incidents, identify controls and corrective actions, and enter reports into Encompass.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in occupational health and safety, plus a post-secondary degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related subject area (or 3 additional years experience if no university degree).

•Ability to work independently, lead change, manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and influence without authority.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, observational, research, and report-writing skills with outstanding attention to detail.
•Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
