Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design, hands-on prototyping, and iterative refinement of delivery systems, electromechanical prototypes, and integrated packaging solutions.
  • •Run rapid looks-like and works-like prototyping and experimentation to validate concept fit and support in-lab/small-scale consumer learning.
  • •Translate prototyping learnings into clear technical requirements for functional, safe, reliable, and scalable devices.
  • •Collaborate with internal and external partners to build and test safe, functional, and reliable devices for extended consumer studies and concept validation.
  • •Partner on design-for-manufacture and scale-up transition, supporting design freeze and maintaining design intent through development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 165,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical engineering experience (5+ years) in electromechanical/mechanical and package design with strong hands-on prototyping and product development process knowledge.
  • •Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), including tolerance analysis and engineering analysis tools (e.g., FMECA) plus package molding technologies.
  • •Familiarity with circuits, PCBs/PCBA, and programming to build and test electromechanical prototypes.
  • •Ability to convert ambiguous invention concepts into structured engineering requirements and actionable development plans.
  • •Experience leading external development partners and cross-functional technical programs.
