Design and implement high-speed interface circuits for next-generation NVLINK, contributing to work on high-speed transceivers and high-frequency PLLs. Own mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, and verification, and support lab characterization of silicon in deep submicron CMOS. Mentor mask designers and provide guidance across floorplan and layout, taking designs from implementation through productizing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement high-speed interface circuits, including projects such as high-speed transceivers and high-frequency PLLs.
•Lead mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, and verification activities; mentor mask designers and support floorplan and layout design.
•Support lab characterization of silicon and address deep submicron CMOS circuit design challenges.
•Take circuit designs through implementation and productizing.
•Collaborate with multi-functional teams across the design and validation process.

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred (or equivalent experience).
•8+ years of design experience in CMOS analog / mixed-signal circuits.
•Working knowledge of Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulators, and timing analysis tools; experience with data converters, Tx, Rx, CDR, and PLL for high-speed IO interfaces.
•Validated experience leading and mentoring designers, with strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
•In-depth understanding of deep submicron CMOS process; proven experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and use of lab instrumentation.
