Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and carry out detailed engineering for telecom and radio systems, including VHF/UHF/VSAT and integrated security systems.
  • •Review and understand telecom/security RFPs (customer bids/tenders) and prepare technical proposals with architecture and bill of materials; stitch integrated solutions.
  • •Evaluate vendor BOMs and solutions, discuss with vendors, and select the approach best fitting project requirements; conduct holistic solution review to reduce cost.
  • •Deliver technical proposals/design/engineering on time across multiple parallel RFPs, coordinating with global Proposal & Estimation and business development teams.
  • •Use engineering tools for optimizing designs (e.g., CCTV, PAGA, radio coverage study) and support/configure through FAT and commissioning (including travel).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in industrial telecom/security systems including radio, networking, IP telephones, access controls, CCTV, PAGA/PIDS, radar and passive systems.
  • •In-depth radio system design and engineering knowledge (VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF operational, VSAT communications).
  • •Additional system knowledge including TSI systems such as PIDS, RTLS, entertainment systems, CCTV, ACS, PAGA, radar, and sonar (added advantage).
  • •Knowledge of control room design and ATEX systems is required.
  • •2–3 years of site commissioning experience for industrial telecom & security solutions with radio system commissioning; CCNA and product certificates (CCTV, Radio, Network) are added advantages.
