Job Summary

Perform and supervise maintenance, repair, and installation of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial buildings. Work from blueprints and specifications to perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults in chillers and cooling units, and ensure safety and compliance with building HVAC codes. Maintain parts and tool inventories, prepare activity log-books, and provide customer training on system use and operation.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform and supervise maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial buildings.
•Review assigned tasks with the Engineer-in-Charge and execute work according to priorities, requirements, and cautions.
•Assemble, install, test, and maintain air conditioning components in line with HVAC codes and safety standards.
•Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning cooling systems using test equipment and hand tools, then fix breakdowns.
•Develop preventive maintenance schedules, maintain parts/tool inventory, prepare activity log-books, and conduct customer training on system operation.

Key Requirements

•1-2 years of relevant technical experience in engineering/construction/maintenance.
•Experience in fire alarms is preferred.
•Follow verbal and written instructions and provide updates accordingly.
•Understand assignments and perform tasks by priority and logical order.
•Work cooperatively in a multicultural environment and be willing to work 24/7 shift patterns and long hours.
