Job Summary

Lead R&D and technical application work for chemical intermediates, specialty chemicals, and formulated solutions serving high-tech industries such as semiconductors, advanced packaging, and electro-optic displays. Partner with Commercial, Marketing, and Synthesis teams to translate industry needs into differentiated offerings. Execute lab evaluations, perform technical scouting, develop application data, and provide customer-facing technical support including onsite troubleshooting and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure laboratory and technical support activities comply with EH&S policies and local regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvements in safety practices.
•Design and conduct laboratory evaluations to identify value propositions of existing or new products for semiconductor process applications.
•Generate application data packages to support product promotion, customer trials, and internal decision-making.
•Conduct technical scouting by analyzing technology trends, customer roadmaps, and unmet needs, and collaborate with synthesis/global teams to develop new molecules and application technologies.
•Provide high-impact technical support to regional customers, including troubleshooting, onsite support, sample evaluations, relationship-building, and conference participation for product promotion.

Key Requirements

•Master or PhD in Microelectronics/Integrated Circuit, Electronics Science, Chemistry/Applied Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years’ industry experience, with MNC company experience preferred.
•Knowledge of semiconductor wet-process applications such as cleaning, etching, lithography, and CMP-related processes.
•Familiarity with processing chemicals/chemical solutions used for wafer cleaning, surface preparation, etching, or photoresist processes.
•Ability to independently plan, execute, and manage technical workstreams; analyze experiments and communicate results clearly.

Education:PhD / Doctorate in Microelectronics, Integrated Circuit, Electronics Science, Chemistry/Applied Chemistry, Material Science, or Polymer Science (or other chemical-related fields)
