Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports and to environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Support EIA work across project life stages from strategy and site identification through feasibility, optioneering, design, discharge of conditions, construction, and operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards through a critical review of detail.
  • •Coordinate resources and budgets to develop project management skills.
  • •Identify environmental constraints and propose impact avoidance, mitigation solutions, and opportunities to deliver benefits; engage directly with clients and internal supply teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters degree) and an appropriate professional membership.
  • •EIA consultancy experience, including coordinating preparation of environmental reports and technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Developing understanding of relevant consenting regimes.
  • •Ability to work collaboratively in an established team, coordinating inputs from specialist technical teams.
  • •Developing project management skills, including programming and budget management.
