Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the transition of propulsion systems, actuators, and electrical/mechanical assemblies from prototype to high-rate production with manufacturability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • •Develop test plans, processes, and systems to validate mechanical, electromechanical, and propulsion subsystems across development, production, and final acceptance.
  • •Design, document, and validate scalable manufacturing and assembly processes, including automation and tooling to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • •Support high-rate production by working with production teams to scale processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for high-yield, high-throughput output.
  • •Lead first article builds, define inspection and acceptance criteria with quality engineering, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for failures or production issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •3+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, or production support for mechanical or electromechanical systems.
  • •Experience developing and implementing test systems for functional, performance, and environmental testing across development and production phases.
  • •Deep experience in manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, casting, sheet metal fabrication, and electromechanical assembly.
  • •Strong DFM/DFA experience and transitioning products from prototype to high-rate production, including first article builds and production ramp-up.
