Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws and company safety regulations.
  • •Transport loads safely and on schedule while following route requirements and traffic laws.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
  • •Load/unload goods and materials using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine service checks while reporting maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license depending on state and vehicle weight.

  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff.
  • •Be able to travel frequently and lift/move up to 40 pounds.
