Key Responsibilities

•Conduct thorough on-site vehicle condition inspections and document findings accurately in inspection systems according to Manheim standards.
•Verify VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options, and record exterior and interior condition including tires, frame, glass, panels, seating, dashboard, and installed options.
•Perform basic mechanical checks and identify damage, missing components, or inoperable features.
•Engage dealer clients to build trust, educate them on Manheim Marketplace/mobile inspections, and manage inspection schedules across the assigned territory.
•Submit daily activity/production reports, use Salesforce.com for reporting and tracking, and collaborate with Manheim teams while following safety and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.
•Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
•Automotive-related knowledge (body and mechanical) suitable for the inspector level.
•For higher levels: prior vehicle inspection experience and increasing experience requirements (e.g., 3+ years for Level 2; 5+ years for Senior Level).
•Ability to safely locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer client lots.
