Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight and management of operations and maintenance activities for renewable energy assets, including wind, solar, battery facilities, and shared facilities.
  • •Plan, organize, and direct ongoing activities and special assignments; manage staffing, training/coaching, performance management, time entry, coordination, reporting, and budgeting.
  • •Lead problem-solving efforts within the renewable energy discipline and develop internal continuous improvement and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • •Coordinate/schedule tasks, resources, and activities to meet pre-specified goals and develop short- and long-term group plans aligned to organizational objectives.
  • •Use engineering drawings and operating data to ensure electrical and mechanical equipment is maintained safely, efficiently, and economically, and administer corporate/local policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or GED and 8 years of renewable energy or power generation supervisory experience in maintenance or operations, or an associate degree with 6 years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience.
  • •Experience can include common system operations, instrument and control systems, outage management, modification process, predictive maintenance, turbine systems, project management, operator controllable losses, work management systems, or performance testing.
  • •Experience in renewable energy operations and maintenance and/or a recognized wind energy degree/certification (preferred).
  • •Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Maximo, PI, Wind SCADA, Condition Based Maintenance, and Predictive Monitoring or similar software with minimal instruction.
  • •Knowledge of environmental regulations and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate clearly with credibility and confidence.
