Job Summary

Maintain and repair heavy construction equipment to keep it reliable and ready for demanding job sites. Perform lubrication and inspections, paint and bodywork, machine shop fabrication using welding and machining tools, diagnose and overhaul fuel injector and governor systems, and rebuild engines, transmissions, and electrical components. Handle parts catalogs and preventative maintenance, support shop and field repairs, and follow safety and PPE requirements while working flexible schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform lubrication, inspections, and proactive diagnostics to detect abnormal conditions.
•Complete paint and body repairs to restore equipment appearance and function.
•Run machine shop repairs and fabrication, including welding/burning and operating lathes, saws, shapers, grinders, and presses.
•Diagnose, service, and overhaul fuel injector pumps, nozzles, and engine governors; rebuild water and air-cooled gas and diesel engines.
•Overhaul transmission/rear-end systems, manage parts catalogs, perform preventative maintenance, and handle shop and field repairs while following safety and PPE requirements.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED required; further education or related experience is highly desired.
•Must be at least 18 years old.
•5+ years of experience using diagnostic software for major equipment brands such as Cat ET Heavy Equipment, Komatsu Heavy Equipment, Cummins Insite, Prosis, or Volvo.
•Pass pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check, plus a pre-employment Fit for Work physical.
•Provide valid documentation for I-9 immigration compliance and be willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime when required.
