Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive expansion in top strategic accounts by owning expansion strategy and commercial outcomes, including executive relationships, joint account planning, and closing complex expansion deals.
  • •Lead and develop the Customer Success team by managing direct reports, setting expectations, coaching commercial behavior, and building an operating rhythm.
  • •Build and codify the strategic expansion playbook, including account planning templates, expansion qualification frameworks, and executive engagement plays.
  • •Partner across the business on land-and-expand handoffs, customer-driven roadmap signals, and the consumption pricing rollout.
  • •Own expansion forecasting by maintaining accurate expansion ARR forecasting and running weekly and quarterly operating cadences to meet targets.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in strategic account management or expansion sales at developer tool, data infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS companies, with consistent quota attainment.
  • •Proven success closing complex, multi-threaded expansion deals ($100K+ ACV) within existing enterprise accounts, including org mapping, executive engagement, and procurement navigation.
  • •2+ years people leadership experience developing others, including direct-report management or high-context pod/team leadership with coaching and expectations-setting.
  • •Comfort with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models, with demonstrated ability to learn the motion required.
  • •Track record of building structure where it didn’t exist, including playbooks, account planning templates, operating rhythms, qualification frameworks, and internal enablement.
