Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee domestic supplier performance for quality, affordability, and timely delivery of hardware and/or services.
  • •Develop and execute material strategies aligned to program needs and requirements for early life-cycle programs.
  • •Drive cost, quality, and schedule negotiations across the supplier base and guide engineering to support timely procurement.
  • •Provide accurate forecasting of material costs and manage financial metrics, including cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.
  • •Own supplier management activities including performance, SCM metrics, Make/Buy/Where strategies, strategic agreements, and compliance with flow-through requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS, ITAR, public law).

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain-relevant role such as procurement, MRP, cost estimating, or finance.
  • •Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management.
  • •Experience with MRP/ERP systems (special program access or equivalent manufacturing programs).
  • •Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
