Key Responsibilities

•Operate mechanical test frames (static or hydraulic) and report core material testing data (UTS, YS, Modulus) or operate characterization instruments (SDT, TGA, TMA, DMA, DSC, FTIR, SEM) and report data
•Perform mechanical testing (tensile, fatigue, compression) with metals, polymers, or composites or conduct corresponding characterization work (thermal testing, imaging)
•Support maintenance and calibration of lab instrumentation
•Summarize data and document results, providing basic interpretation and flag off-nominal results for engineering review
•Maintain safe, clean, and organized lab operations and participate in 5S initiatives to sustain a tidy workspace
