Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults during the turn-in process.
  • •Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance per Army TMs, DA PAM 750-8, and AR 750-1, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
  • •Repair and service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems; maintain MHE and perform PMCS/lubrication/part replacement.
  • •Record inspections, maintenance, and repairs using Army-approved forms/systems and maintain work orders, parts requisitions, and completion records in line with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
  • •Support turn-in operations by coordinating with supply/inspectors, providing condition-coding expertise, and preparing equipment for storage, transfer, or disposal.

Salary: USD 30.77 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Selected candidate must be able to bring their own tools (required).
  • •Knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance standards and technical manuals, including PMCS.
  • •Proficiency diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and reading Army TMs/schematics.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and obtain Tier 1/NACI (Public Trust) background eligibility; must pass background check and drug testing.
