Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, optimize, test, cut over, and document advanced communication systems in coordination with Engineering, Project Management, and Sales.
  • •Oversee onsite installation and provide as-built information for final documentation packages.
  • •Perform onsite and remote configuration and troubleshooting of networks, servers, RF infrastructure, databases, and log/event monitoring.
  • •Execute acceptance testing using product/system test plans, correct deficiencies, and provide accepted test results for final documentation.
  • •Conduct performance verification/optimization of RF infrastructure, including legacy analog and digital P25, and perform preventative maintenance with trend analysis and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in areas such as LMR, RF systems, radio communications, two-way radio, IP networking, ASTRO 25/P25, WAVE VoIP, Motorola equipment, telecommunications, or public safety/engineering.
  • •Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (employer work permit sponsorship is not available).
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s).
  • •Strong communication skills and a professional image; must have a valid driver’s license with no traffic violations.
  • •Ability to travel extensively as needed (>75%) and willingness to obtain/maintain industry network certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+/Security+, Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIA, Nokia NRS1).
