Job Summary

Transport ready-mix concrete to construction sites and customers using a Class B ready-mix concrete truck, following dispatch instructions and applicable laws. Maintain safety and quality standards, communicate with the dispatcher, verify delivery tickets, and ensure proper loading and product quality. Monitor gauges, keep operator logs and DOT-related records, report equipment issues, and maintain a clean, orderly truck and work area. Be available for nights and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction projects and customers in a safe and efficient manner, following dispatch instructions.
•Maintain safety and quality standards, including safe loading/unloading and ensuring proper product quality before leaving sites and en route.
•Communicate with the dispatcher, review delivery tickets for special instructions, and obtain required signatures.
•Operate the vehicle while monitoring gauges, maintain equipment cleanliness, and report problems or necessary repairs to maintenance personnel.
•Maintain accurate operator logs, forms, and records in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations.

Key Requirements

•Possess a valid commercial driver's license (Class B or better).
•Maintain a current DOT physical card and be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
•Operate a ready-mix concrete truck safely and efficiently while following applicable laws and dispatch instructions.
•Be able to load/unload equipment and perform physical tasks such as climbing and handling mixer components safely.
•Keep operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
