Job Summary

Lead a cross-discipline UI team (up to 10) to define and execute UX/UI vision for a game franchise. Partner with game directors and designers to translate goals into compelling player experiences, present and pitch designs to leadership, and produce UX work spanning analysis, information design, content strategy, user stories, journey mapping, and accessibility standards. Build scalable design systems and improve team outcomes, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a cross-discipline UI team of UX designers (up to 10).
•Define the franchise UX/UI vision and translate goals and constraints into user-facing experiences with game directors and designers.
•Collaborate with UX/UI craft leads and other teams to maintain consistency and resolve design discrepancies.
•Present and pitch designs to the Creative Director, Game Directors, and Franchise Leadership.
•Produce UX design work (competitive analysis, information design, content strategy, user stories, journey mapping, accessibility standards) and build flexible design systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 145,900 - 215,920 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in UX design, UI art, or UI engineering, actively developing UI features for video games across multiple platforms.
•5+ years of experience managing a team up to 10 people or equivalent training, with mentoring and career development experience.
•Strong leadership qualities with an outcome-focused, empathetic, and results-oriented approach.
•Experience presenting UX/UI designs to stakeholders and other team members.
•Skilled with Unreal Engine (UMG), Figma, the Adobe Suite, and prototyping tools; strong understanding of UI/UX design, art, and engineering practices.
