Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all Ultrasound imagery procedures in accordance with department policies, procedures and protocols, applying detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • •Evaluate and assess Ultrasound images for quality and appropriateness, and forward to Radiologist for review and reporting
  • •Liaise with radiologists to arrange further imaging or tests as needed
  • •Maintain safe and competent use of all radiology equipment, report incidents or equipment faults to senior staff
  • •Promote and maintain a clean, organized work environment and restock supplies as needed

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years post-graduate experience in ultrasound in an acute care hospital, including Doppler, obstetrics/gynecology and abdominal sonography (of which at least 2 years’ experience as a senior ultrasound radiographer in an acute care hospital)
  • •NLT 4 years post-graduate experience in ultrasound in an acute care hospital, including Doppler, obstetrics/gynecology and abdominal sonography
  • •UAE National: 2 years post-graduate experience in general radiography
  • •Post graduate Ultrasound Diploma Certificate (desired)
