Key Responsibilities

  • •Consolidate monthly budgets and projected annual budgets for the Discovery team and track actual expenses versus budget.
  • •Ensure payments comply with internal procedures (quotes, contracts, purchase orders, service orders) and required approvals for payment scheduling.
  • •Provide cost management practices and identify business improvement initiatives related to the role’s execution.
  • •Serve as a key contact across Supply Chain, IM, Asset Management, compliance, and legal to ensure procurement, logistics, and asset management are timely.
  • •Support procurement, logistics, and asset management processes, including project monitoring and follow-up activities and tender/TOR preparation aligned with technical and SHEC requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate qualification (bachelor’s/honours bachelor’s) in a relevant Finance or Economics discipline.
  • •3+ years of experience in similar roles, ideally at Big Four or in mining.
  • •Advanced English (mandatory).
  • •Advanced Excel skills; Power BI is desirable.
  • •Knowledge of accounting/finance for financial reporting and budgeting; a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable.
