Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain compliance frameworks aligned with UK regulatory requirements, including regulatory readiness for licensing and supervision.
  • •Act as the primary point of contact with the FCA and interpret regulatory changes to guide business strategy.
  • •Build policies and controls across AML, KYC, data privacy, consumer duty, distribution, and claims-related compliance; run risk assessments and remediation.
  • •Establish monitoring, testing, reporting, and control testing processes, ensuring audits and compliance reviews are operationalised.
  • •Oversee consumer protection and business integrity, including fairness, transparency, product/comms/marketing reviews, pricing governance, distribution oversight, and complaint handling frameworks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 100,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of compliance, risk, or regulatory experience in financial services, insurance, insurtech, or fintech.
  • •Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA rules and consumer duty requirements.
  • •Experience building policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing complex compliance programs.
  • •Ability to create compliance programs and controls for digital platforms, distribution, or insurance products (preferred).
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with regulators.
