Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of risk management and control procedures across the business.
  • •Deliver value-adding, insight-led audit assignments that convince leaders to enhance Diageo’s performance and risk/control environment.
  • •Build and sustain business partnering relationships with business leaders and mid-management outside of audits, providing proactive advice on risks.
  • •Apply root cause and data-driven analysis to support risk/opportunity insights and efficiency opportunities.
  • •Provide functional support and coaching to less experienced team members, and influence leadership to take appropriate action when gaps are found.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Big Four and/or internal audit in a multinational corporate environment.
  • •Experience with risk-based auditing, including reviewing financials and business data to identify risks and insights.
  • •Strong root cause analysis and ability to generate insights and define action plans.
  • •Extensive experience using data analysis tools and AI tools.
  • •Fluent English mandatory; qualified accountant, MBA, or other professional qualification (or equivalent experience).
