Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and mentor a small, fast-growing finance team and support the Controller and Finance department goals.
  • •Oversee accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, government accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • •Supervise global payroll and ensure timely processing and payroll compliance, including tax filings and reporting across jurisdictions.
  • •Lead preparation and oversight of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, drive monthly close, and coordinate processes for financial reporting.
  • •Coordinate regulatory reporting and annual audits; oversee tax and compliance activities and support grant submissions and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree and/or CPA required.
  • •7-10+ years of experience in a financial management role, with prior public accounting (Big 7) or consulting experience.
  • •Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting, including knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • •Advanced proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems and procurement systems, plus advanced Excel.
  • •Proven leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
