Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Fabricate and assemble robot prototype systems and components using tools, 3D printing, soldering, and machining, reviewing mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
•Repair mechanical components (actuators, motors, gearboxes, bearings) and electrical systems (wiring, circuits, power supplies, sensors, control systems) in initial prototypes.
•Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of robot prototype systems using diagnostic tools and instrumentation, providing engineering feedback.
•Collaborate effectively with hardware design engineers to iterate designs based on experimental results and propose solutions to ease assembly, repair, and maintenance.
•Review engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate prototype assembly and maintenance.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of prototyping technician experience.
•Assembly and disassembly skills on electromechanical systems including AC/DC motors, wiring, controllers, and mechanical components.
•Soldering and harness/wiring skills.
