Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate and assemble robot prototype systems and components using tools, 3D printing, soldering, and machining, reviewing mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • •Repair mechanical components (actuators, motors, gearboxes, bearings) and electrical systems (wiring, circuits, power supplies, sensors, control systems) in initial prototypes.
  • •Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of robot prototype systems using diagnostic tools and instrumentation, providing engineering feedback.
  • •Collaborate effectively with hardware design engineers to iterate designs based on experimental results and propose solutions to ease assembly, repair, and maintenance.
  • •Review engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate prototype assembly and maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prototyping technician experience.
  • •Assembly and disassembly skills on electromechanical systems including AC/DC motors, wiring, controllers, and mechanical components.
