Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate slitter machines to cut rolls to specifications, meeting target production goals while minimizing waste, energy, and cost.
  • •Support Environmental Health & Safety by following policies and procedures and improving EH&S performance.
  • •Maintain visual workplace standards and keep accurate paperwork (visual check sheets, run condition sheets, and production forms).
  • •Monitor and maintain quality by removing flag defects and ensuring safe operation of hoists and pallet jacks.
  • •Actively participate in Continuous Improvement, Safety, and Quality initiatives, including WCOM changes and daily updates, and perform housekeeping duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •HS diploma or equivalent and/or technical experience.
  • •Ability to distinguish color and pass a color blindness test.
  • •Regular attendance and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment while leading by example.
  • •Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand and move frequently, and wear required personal protective equipment.
