Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to overall Commodities portfolio deliveries and reconcile actual P&L vs trader estimates with flash/variance analysis.
  • •Perform front-to-back analysis and reconciliations between front office P&L and balance sheet and firm sub-ledgers.
  • •Execute month-end controls to ensure management vs financial P&L variances remain within thresholds.
  • •Analyze traders’ risk positions and apply Greeks (Delta, Vega, Gamma) vs daily market moves.
  • •Liaise with technology, market risk, credit risk, operations, and finance to resolve issues/queries; support process improvements and UAT for system releases/implementations.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/CFA or MBA/B.Tech from a Tier I/II institute, with at least 6 years’ relevant experience.
  • •At least 4 years’ experience in Global Markets Product Control/Financial Control/Financial Management, preferably for Commodities.
  • •Understanding of Commodities markets/products and P&L attribution/accounting for Commodities products.
  • •Experience working with pricing models, trading systems, ledgers, and sub-ledgers; strong financial analytics in complex products.
  • •Advanced Excel/spreadsheets and strong communication/relationship management across different management levels; ability to operate in a high-pressure environment.
