Key Responsibilities

  • •Run MRP and BOM explosions for electrical components against the Master Production Schedule, netting requirements against available inventory.
  • •Maintain and refresh Clear-to-Build (CTB) coverage status by SKU and work center, prioritizing long-lead critical-path items like switchgear.
  • •Identify potential material shortages early, escalate to Strategic Sourcing for expedite or dual-sourcing actions, and track resolution.
  • •Share rolling supplier forecasts, secure capacity and lead-time commitments, and feed supplier commits back into MRP within contract frameworks.
  • •Set and maintain item-level ERP planning parameters (order policy, lot sizing, lead times, safety stock, planning time fences) and support inventory accuracy and ABC classification; represent electrical constraints in monthly S&OP.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of experience in material planning, supply planning, or MRP execution, ideally for industrial equipment, hardware manufacturing, or electrical commodities.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Strong knowledge of MRP logic, complex BOM structures, and ERP planning modules (e.g., Acumatica or similar).
  • •Experience coordinating rolling forecasts and delivery commitments directly with suppliers.
  • •Advanced Excel skills for managing inventory feeds, shortage lists, and CTB reporting.
