Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide coverage for stationary engineers and facilities/utilities technicians during absences across all three shifts.
  • •Maintain plant facilities and utility systems, including refrigeration, compressor, wastewater, nitrogen, fire sprinklers, pumps, city water, wastewater treatment, HVAC, and boiler/steam and high-pressure systems.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the building.
  • •Plan alternate activities to maximize productivity during unscheduled downtime or work delays.
  • •Follow safety policies, OSHA requirements, GMP, and 5S standards while maintaining records and inventories and partnering with production and engineering teams for trials and new processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Two-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent maintenance experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment and facility utility systems.
  • •Obtain and utilize a Third Class Steam Engineering license to support boiler operations.
  • •Knowledge of programmable logic controllers, frequency drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration systems, boiler systems, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • •Boiler experience preferred.
  • •Food manufacturing experience preferred, including process safety, sanitary design, 5S methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
