Build centers of influence through community networking and collaborate with other business units to serve middle market clients. May mentor more junior lenders.

Key Responsibilities

•Build relationships with customers and prospects to evaluate commercial banking needs, focusing on lending and cross-selling cash management, retail banking, mortgage, and wealth management solutions.
•Assess business opportunities to ensure they meet prescribed profitability standards.
•Create and execute comprehensive calling/prospecting plans to maximize business opportunities and relationships.
•Prospect for solid credits and relationships in markets inside and outside the bank’s historical footprint.
•Expand centers of influence through community networking and build internal relationships with non-commercial unit representatives; may coach/mentor more junior lenders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 87,500 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree in Business or related field.
•3+ years of experience in a commercial banking role for AVP level, with a proven track record of successful business deals.
•5+ years of experience in a commercial banking role for VP level, with a proven track record of successful business deals.
•Proven relationship management skills and ability to establish rapport with business owners.
•Quantifiable credit skills and discernment about credit quality.
